About Procon Jr.
Procon Jr. is a coding event under the technical fest Esya 2023 IIIT-Delhi. This is an event in the style of IOI, made for school students. Winners will be awarded with cash prizes, along with multiple Bonus Points for IIIT-D admissions through the JAC process (each point being equivalent to 1 percentile jump in the JEE Main score).
Procon Jr. will take place in two phases, first the online preliminary round for the registered participants, and then the final on-site round for participants who qualify in the preliminary round.
About the contest
- This is the preliminary online contest for Procon Jr. event in Esya 2023.
- The contest will start on 19'th August 2023 at 6:30pm IST. The contest duration is 2.5 hours.
- Any attempt to share the solution or idea or hint publicly will be considered cheating.
Rules
- Each problem is worth 1 point.
- Ranking is done as follows - Participants with a higher score have a better rank compared to those with a lower score. In case of tie, the participant with lower time penalty has the higher rank.
- Every wrong submission constitutes a penalty of 10 minutes.
